‘Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.’
-Fred Rogers

Client Centered Play Therapy
Learn to express your feelings and work through challenging experiences through the use of play.
For children it allows them to express what they may not feel comfortable saying with words and creates a safe environment to explore and resolve emotional issues through interactive play.
For youth and adults the implementing of various play activities teaches them how to express themselves, work through psychological issues and achieve an improved mood state.
No matter what age you are… there is always time for play!
Walk and Talk
Research has shown that walking boosts your mood and mental well being by lowering stress and decreasing the effects of depression and anxiety. If requested, sessions can include a brisk , or not so brisk, walk while engaging. You can determine the pace!
Pet Therapy
If you don’t mind having a happy, four-legged friend to cuddle with while you participate once in a while then you have come to the right place. This little guy is currently being trained to be a pet therapy dog and he loves being able to help you too! Please let me know if you prefer not having him there during your sessions.
