What do I do?
I specialize in supporting women, children and families on a variety of concerns, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, end of life and more.
In your sessions you will find an integrative therapeutic approach to tailor fit your specific needs which include, but are not limited to, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, art therapy and educational resources.
When working with children I encourage caregiver training and will intermix family sessions with individual sessions, based on the needs of the child.
Incorporating Integrative Approaches
My goal during each session is to utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and integrative techniques to help you target specific concerns.
-
A talk therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave
-
Focuses on teaching people skills to manage intense emotions, cope with challenging situations and improve their relationships.
-
A type of conversation-based intervention with the goal of helping to become more aware of one’s internal states and surroundings, and avoid automatic negative thoughts
-
A strengths-based approach to therapy that focuses on solution-building rather than problem-solving. Clients encounter change by coming up with solutions rather than focusing on problems.
